Just this week we received a product that is not only changing the way we eat our lunch, but may very well change the planet.  Meet the Goodbyn- ‘a better lunchbox, reinvented for kids, parents and our planet’.   Seriously, I haven’t been this excited about lunchboxes since I found one with She-Ra on it in the first grade!  The Goodbyn was created by Byndoo, a small Seattle-based company with the goal of changing the way kids eat their lunch.  All Goodbyns are produced in the USA and are made of 100%  recyclable food-safe plastics: #5 polypropylene (lunchbox and bottle lid) and #2 high-density polyethylene (bottle). Omg, I am so excited right now! I just got the best deals on a TON of things @ Meringue’s Biggest Sale EVER! I got so many cute new things, but I’ll just give you the highlights. First of all, I scored cute new Scanty PJs at an awesome price. I also picked up a pair of boyfriend shorts from Genetic Denim that are going to look great with my riding boots and a cardigan as I transition into fall. I also grabbed the softest slouchy pullover sweater from Rhys Dwfen; it is going to look fabulous with skinny jeans and boots too. If you haven’t been in yet, go NOW! If you already went earlier in the week, you should go back and make sure you didn’t miss anything. There are only a couple of days left, the sale ends 9/27.

It’s a question we hear all the time… “What kind of denim is going to be in style next season?” And the answer this season: “anything goes!” I am a firm believer in the fact that a great fitting pair of jeans is always in style no matter what the actual style of the jeans are and regardless of what magazines are describing as ‘hot’. This fall, have fun with denim. For the super-trendy: ripped skinnies and slouchy boyfriends are the way to go. I am totally loving the ripped skinny ‘Roxanne’ from Seven for all Mankind that Cameron Diaz has been spotted wearing all over town. Also, studs are back and more popular than ever! For those that tend to stick more to the basics, a nice dark straight-leg or bootcut is versatile and perfect for this season. William Rast’s ‘Stella’ and ‘Sadie’ are both clean, classic cuts that flatter the body. And…don’t forget trouser jeans, like the Seven ‘Ginger’ or William Rast ‘Savoy’- they are great for dressing up any casual look. Have a fabulous fall in flattering denim!
